The New Mexico Environment Department released security camera footage on Tuesday of a terrifying explosion at a licensed medical marijuana dispensary that left two workers with severe burns.

The blast, which occurred last June, shows the two employees allegedly using butane gas to extract THC from marijuana to make cannabis oil.

The video shows one employee kneeling on the ground with a torch, when a fireball suddenly engulfs the room.

The explosion appears to light the employee’s hair on fire as well.

Both employees were able to escape the flames, but both suffered third-degree burns.

The blast was so powerful video recorded ceiling tiles falling to the ground due to the explosion.

The Santa Fe based dispensary received a $17,000 fine from the New Mexico Occupational Health and Safety Bureau as a result of the blast.
