Man sent to hospital after two-vehicle collision

REGINA – A man in apparent medical distress was involved in a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon.

At 4:05 p.m. on March 7, Regina Police responded to a vehicle collision at Gordon Road and Lewvan Drive.

Police say a 58-year-old man travelling westbound on Gordon Road hit a 50-year-old woman travelling southbound on Lewvan Drive. The female driver was in the right hand turning lane to go westbound on Gordon Road.

During the collision, the woman’s vehicle was pushed into a pedestrian walk-light pole.

Witnesses told police the male driver appeared to be in medical distress. He was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition, for what is believed to be a medical reason.

The woman was not taken to hospital. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
