Officers spent several hours negotiating with a 30-year old man wanted on several warrants inside a home near 57th street and 137 Avenue.

Police were called to the home following a mental health complaint.

The tactical unit was called to the scene to help resolve the matter. Police say there was no threat to the public.

The man has been taken to hospital where he will undergo a mental health assessment.
