KELOWNA – The two car collision that killed a Kelowna woman happened almost a year ago.
Now the driver who allegedly caused the crash has been charged with a serious criminal offense.

On the night of May 22nd, witnesses told police a Honda was exceeding the speed limit when the driver lost control on a curve on McCurdy Road and smashed head-on into an on-coming Toyota in the other lane.

The driver of the Toyota, 21-year-old Joselyn Casavant, died at the scene.
Trevor Richard Stocks, 28, is charged with dangerous driving causing death.
Stocks makes his first court appearance later this month.
