KELOWNA- Kelowna’s Manteo Resort has been sold.
The Argus Properties Group purchased the popular lake-side hotel Tuesday from the Rykon Group.
Argus already owns Hotel Eldorado and the Four Points by Sheraton Kelowna Airport. They took possession of the Mateo Tuesday morning.
In a release, Argus said they feel very fortunate. “Manteo Resort is a great asset to Kelowna and, in harmony with the Hotel Eldorado, we are honoured to be able to showcase these lakeside destinations both within our community and to international visitors.”
The sale includes all of the resort’s assets except the Manteo Beach Club and the Villas, which Argus and the Rykon Group will manage together.
The new owners say that all of the resort’s employees will keep their jobs.
