WINNIPEG — The bomb unit was called to the same law office that had a bomb sent to it last summer.
Investigators were on scene at Peterson King on River Avenue for a report of a suspicious package, on Wednesday afternoon.
Police tape could be seen behind the building. River Avenue remained open to vehicles and pedestrians.
Investigators found the item to be safe and not explosive.
Last summer a bomb exploded in the Peterson King office severely injuring lawyer, Maria Mitousis.
