Music producer Dr. Luke went on a Twitter rant Monday defending himself against allegations he abused singer Kesha.

As the ongoing legal battle between the two plays out, Dr. Luke first released a statement through his lawyers calling the allegations “outright lies” before taking to Twitter with more than 20 posts.

Among the posts he says Kesha is like a sister to him, and that there is a lot of speculation going on with little information.

Kesha has been trying to get out of a contract with Dr. Luke, claiming he drugged her as well as emotionally and sexually abused her. Kesha’s lawyers say her career has essentially been stalled by the process; meanwhile Dr. Luke claims she fabricated the story to get out of her contractual obligations.

On Friday, the “Tik Tok” singer sobbed in court as a judge denied her bid to get out of her contract as fans rallied outside the courthouse.

She has also received an outpouring of support from the online community and fellow artists.

Taylor Swift has donated $250,000 USD to Kesha in a “show of support” to help her in her legal fight.

Friday’s decision wasn’t the final word on their court fight in New York, to say nothing of related lawsuits in California and Tennessee.
