Edmonton’s Windermere area could have a new neighbourhood

EDMONTON – A new neighbourhood could be popping up in southwest Edmonton.

The city is holding a public meeting on Feb. 25 for residents to learn about a proposed plan for a new neighbourhood in the Windermere area, known as Glenridding Ravine.

The proposal includes the creation of a Neighbourhood Structure Plan and an amendment to the Windermere Area Structure Plan.

Residents will also have a chance to provide feedback to the city and Stantec Consulting Ltd. who is the applicant.

Feedback will be put in a report to city council.

The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Terwillegar Rec. Centre.
