RCMP say the trial dates have been changed for the man charged in connection with the deaths of two boys who were killed by a python in Campbellton, N.B.
The Court of Queen’s Bench has changed the dates for the trial of 39-year-old Jean-Claude Savoie from Sept. 12-23 to Oct.31 – Nov. 11. The change is to accommodate witnesses who are expected to be called during the trial.

Savoie is facing a charge of criminal negligence causing death.
Four-year-old Noah Barthe and his six-year-old brother Connor were found dead on Aug. 5, 2013, after an African rock python escaped its enclosure inside Savoie’s apartment in Campbellton, where they were staying for a sleepover.
