UPDATE: School closures and bus cancellations Monday morning

WINNIPEG — Blowing snow and treacherous road conditions have caused several school closures and bus cancellations this morning.

SCHOOL CLOSURES:

Sunrise School Division in Beausejour: all schools closed; staff asked not to report.

Lakeshore School Division: all schools closed.

Francophone School Division: Sainte Claude, St. Georges, Aurele-Lemione and Notre Dame de Lourdes.

Springfield Tiny Tots in Oakbank: closed.

Gillis Play-and-Learn Centre in Tyndall: closed.

Dugald Daycare: closed.

Lac du Bonnett Children’s Centre: closed.

Fisher Branch Care-A-Lot For Tots Daycare and School age Program: closed.

Prairie Road School Division:  classes cancelled for the whole division, and staff is asked to report when safe to do so.

BUS CANCELLATIONS:

Louis Riel School Division: buses cancelled south of the Perimeter; all city routes still running.

Francophone School Division: Real Bérard, Gabrielle Roy, Lagimodière, Sainte-Agathe, Noel-Ritchot, Saint-Joachim, Pointe des Chênes, Saint-Jean Baptiste.

Prairie Road School Division: all buses cancelled.
