PENTICTON — The public is invited to a school board meeting in Penticton, to discuss alternate potential uses of school facilities.
Six schools within School District No. 67 (Okanagan Skaha) are being considered for closure.

As part of that process, the Ministry of Education and the school district must consider alternate uses of the facility.
The schools include Carmi Elementary, McNicoll Park Middle, Parkway Elementary, and West Bench Elementary in Penticton as well as Giant’s Head Elementary and Trout Creek Elementary in Summerland.
The meeting will be held on Feb 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shatford Centre in Penticton.
