The “Event of Events Competition” officially launched today, and the winning idea will be awarded 20-thousand dollars to make their dream event, a reality.

The winner will be selected by a panel of four Regina-based judges, and entries that meet the initial criteria will become contestants in the competition.

Entrants at this stage will be required to make a three minute pitch to the judges.

“People will be able to watch the pitches through a series of webisodes that we’re going to start releasing in the spring”

“We’ve got amazing judges who have led some of Regina’s iconic events. They will be making the decision on who ultimately wins the first and inaugural Event of Events,” said Fahlman.

The contest is open to both individuals or organizations, and entry deadline is February 26th.
