Man stabbed in Saskatoon home invasion

SASKATOON – A man is recovering from stab wounds after a home invasion in Saskatoon. Police say it happened Saturday around 5:45 a.m. CT at an apartment in the 2600-hundred block of Broadway Avenue.

According to police, four men made their way into the apartment and demanded cash and drugs.

They stabbed a man who lives there before searching the apartment then fleeing. The 27-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment of minor stab wounds.

Police say the suspects are First Nations men in their late teens or early 20s. They were believed to be driving a silver or grey Dodge minivan.
