Alleged ‘Prancing Thief’ caught on camera stealing little girl’s birthday present

San Jose police are on the lookout for an alleged thief who pranced away after swiping a little girl’s birthday present from a home.

Surveillance footage captured by a Nest Cam shows the unique way a person left a San Jose, California home Friday.

Local news station KRON 4 claims that a victim contacted them to publish footage of the incident and to explain the package was a grandmother’s birthday gift to their four-year-old daughter.

The video also appears to show the same suspect steal mail from a neighbour.

Those with knowledge of the incident are asked to contact the San Jose Police Department.
