Emotions ran high in Moncton provincial court, as Tyler Noel appeared before judge Irwin Lampert.

Noel is charged with first degree murder and arson in the death of Wylie, whose body was discovered following a fire at a Moncton triplex on Dec. 17.

When Noel entered the courtroom, Amanda broke down in tears.

At one point during the proceedings, Noel raised his voice and had an outburst in the court. From behind the glass, he yelled across the courtroom at a supporter of the Wylie family, to stop staring at him.

Judge Lampert told Noel to contain himself and he later apologized for the outburst.

Defence lawyer Wendell Maxwell, said he needed more time to consult with Noel, and the case was adjourned until Feb. 15. Noel remains in custody.

In court today it was also revealed that Noel is charged not only in the death of Wylie, but also a number of other assault charges dating back to last fall involving two victims and a stun gun.

Once the proceedings were over, Wylie’s mother left the courthouse visibly upset, unwilling to speak to the media and surrounded by her family.

The two men who were arrested with Noel on Saturday in Petitcodiac are also scheduled to appear in court Thursday.

Zachary Holden, 18, of Moncton, is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, being unlawfully in a dwelling house, flight from police and dangerous driving.

Bradley John Bonnell, 20, of Wheaton Settlement, is charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
