Downtown stabbing sends Regina man to hospital

REGINA – Regina Police were called to downtown Regina after a man was assaulted on Tuesday night.

Police went to the 1900 block of Halifax Street where it was reported that a break and enter was in progress. When police arrived they learned the break and enter was from an altercation that happened earlier.

A witness at the scene told Global News’ that the 33-year-old victim was stabbed and bleeding badly, so they took him to the hospital.

Officers were able to find the victim at the Regina General Hospital with significant non-life threatening injuries.
