Prince Albert, Sask. police investigating homicide

Police in a northern Saskatchewan city have launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead early Saturday morning. Officers in Prince Albert were called to an apartment in the 1000-block of 1st Avenue West just before 3 a.m. CT for a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers found a 23-year-old man dead. His name has not been released.

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
