A Queen’s Bench Justice denied Bauer bail Friday, citing the third ground, which is to maintain public confidence in the administration of justice.

Lush’s wife and other family members attended court, and said they left relieved by the judge’s decision.

A preliminary inquiry for Bauer and co-accused, Kris Goerzen, is scheduled for later this month.
