Vaudreuil designer heads to Golden Globes, scarves held up at customs

VAUDREUIL-DORION – A small-scale designer from Vaudreuil who agreed to spend her life-savings to fly to Hollywood and sell her scarves at a pre-Golden Globes event is out of luck – for now.

Kerry-Ann Busreth made it to Hollywood in time for the event, but her scarves didn’t.

According to the local fashion designer, they were held up by the Unites States customs.

She told Global News she hopes they’ll be released in time for Thursday, but that means she’ll miss out on the first day of sales.

Busreth is one of a handful of designers hand-picked to attend the event.

She made a special scarf for best actor nominee Leonardo Di Caprio in the hopes that he will drop by her booth.
