EDMONTON – Police officers were on scene of an suspicious scene early Monday morning in the Bonnie Doon area.
A man was taken to hospital after he was found in an alley near 81 Avenue and 81 Street. Police were called at around 8:30 a.m.
Police said the man later died of his injuries, which are not believe to be caused by a crime.
There are no cameras on these buildings to help police figure out what happened, police said.
“Investigators are speaking to residents to find out if they saw or heard anything unusual. They’re also trying to see if a cab dropped off the man,” Sharp added.

Global News spoke to residents who said they did not hear anything unusual.
An autopsy is planned which will help authorities determine exactly what happened.
