TORONTO – Police have identified a man accused of stalking and assaulting women he met through online dating sites and are requesting public help with the investigation.
Police say Omar Nathan McLeod met at least two women via an online dating site in spring 2014 and fall 2015. Police say he harassed and assaulted both women, but believe there may be other victims as well.
McLeod was arrested Thursday and is now charged with two counts of forcible confinement, as well as one count each of harassment, assault, uttering threats and overcoming resistance by choking.
