CALGARY – One person is dead following a head-on crash involving two vehicles on Highway 41 near the Elkwater Townsite entrance Sunday night.
It happened shortly after 5 p.m. One vehicle was carrying four people: three were taken to hospital while a fourth was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people in the second vehicle were treated on scene and released.
Redcliff RCMP and its collision analyst continue to investigate what caused the crash.
The identity of the person killed has not been released.
Police advised the public to avoid travelling in the area because traffic was being redirected.
