EDMONTON – A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between a car and a pedestrian early Tuesday morning in north-central Edmonton.
The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. Police believe a VW Jetta was driving west on 118th Avenue, when it reportedly struck the man between 88th Street and 89th Street.
EMS transported the 23-year-old to hospital in serious condition. The 34-year-old male driver wasn’t injured in the incident.
No charges have been laid against the driver.
The area where the crash happened has since been shut down while police investigate.
