HALIFAX – RCMP are looking into another incident of a piece of metal being found in a potato in Nova Scotia.
A resident of Pictou County found what appears to be a brad nail, used in a braid nailer or a nail gun, in a potato from a 20 lb Country Magic bag of white potatoes purchased from Sobeys in New Glasgow.
No one was injured in the incident, and this is the only tampered potato reported to police in the area at the time.
