Celine Dion, fresh off her jaw-dropping Paris tribute at the American Music Awards, is facing a hard battle at home.
The chanteuse’s husband of 21 years, René Angélil, continues to battle throat cancer, and Closer Weekly is reporting that Dion is trying to make the most out of the time she has left with him.
Angélil, 73, has been on a feeding tube for the past two years, and doctors haven’t been able to give a certified prognosis. Dion told the Las Vegas Sun last week that he’s “stable,” “doing great,” and being a “champ.”

Dion cancelled her Las Vegas shows in 2014 in order to take care of Angélil, but returned to the stage in August 2015 at his insistence. Angélil stepped down as her manager after a tumour was removed from his throat.
“I’m amazed of him even more than ever before,” she said to Good Morning America. “I was in love with him the first day, and today I find the strength, and I look at him and I learn so much from him. Getting back on the stage and performing for our fans has helped me deal with balancing those current struggles at home.”

Now homebound in their Las Vegas house, Angélil still continues to support his wife in the best way he can: encouraging her to sing.
Dion, who calls Angélil “the only man of my life,” has told multiple sources that when the end comes, he wants to die in her arms.
Together the couple have three sons: Rene-Charles, 14, and five-year-old twins Nelson and Eddy. Dion is on a break from her Las Vegas show until Dec. 30 so she can have family time over the holidays. Her show will run until 2019.
