Warning issued after man found loitering naked inside downtown Toronto condo sauna

TORONTO – Police are warning female residents of a downtown condominium to be on the lookout for a man found loitering inside the women’s change room.

It is alleged a man entered a condominium in the Lynn Williams Street and Priandello Street area near Toronto’s Liberty Village in August 2015 and proceeded to loiter naked in the sauna.

“That freaks me out. I’d never want to go in there alone. I definitely would want someone with me, it’s really scare actually, and I usually go in late at night,” said condo resident Ashlee Snyder.

He was also allegedly caught in the women’s shower wearing a Speedo-like swimsuit, police said.

A second similar incident was reported on Oct. 20 when the same man allegedly entered the condo again and started loitering inside the women’s change room.

Police said the man was confronted and fled the scene before he could be identified.

“You’re walking into the sauna or change room of your building, likely alone or with another woman, and there’s a 6ft2 guy, naked, standing there, I think that’s concerning,” said Toronto Police Const. David Hopkinson.

He is described as approximately 6’2″ tall, with a thin build, short brown hair and a brown beard.

He was wearing a red baseball cap, blue T-shirt, dark-blue shorts and white running shoes.
