Air Canada adds new flights YYC to San Francisco

CALGARY – Calgary travelers will soon have a new destination: Air Canada is starting daily service to San Francisco, Calif. in June 2016.

The airline is also continuing service between Calgary and Phoenix, Ariz. three times a week.

“With the addition of these flights, passengers flying out of YYC can fly non-stop to more than 20 U.S. destinations,” senior VP of the Calgary Airport Authority, Stephan Poirier, said.

Air Canada is also adding a new aircraft: the Boeing 787 Dreamliner will be used on flights out of Calgary to Tokyo-Narita in Japan, Frankfurt, Germany, and London-Heathrow starting in January.
