SASKATOON – A winter storm that’s hitting parts of the Prairies is more than a match for comedian Kevin Hart. The entertainer was in Saskatchewan this week on his current comedy tour and posted to Instagram footage of himself and a couple of friends preparing to head out for a five-kilometre run on Saskatoon’s icy sidewalks.

“Me in Saskatoon, let’s get this run in baby,” urged the diminutive comic, clad in a burgundy track suit and hoodie. “Hustle hard!”

His buddies had no problem jogging off down the street but Hart took only a couple of steps before wildly sliding and lurching across the ice.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

Uttering a couple of expletives, Hart turned back to the camera and surrendered to the forces of Canadian nature.
