RCMP say a single-vehicle collision on Highway 32 caused an outage in southwestern Saskatchewan Friday. At around 10:30 p.m. CT, officers were on patrol when they observed a power arc near Portreeve, Sask.

Mounties determined that a vehicle had struck a power pole, which caused the power lines to fall across the road. As a result, the areas of Portreeve, Lemsford, Sceptre and Prelate experienced a power outage.
