The robberies range from a lone male attack to three men working in a group. Stolen items include cash, various types of merchandise, cigarettes and prescription narcotics.
The robbers have targeted a variety of businesses including drug stores, gas stations and convenience stores.
Some Saskatoon residents hadn’t heard of the robberies.
“I probably should be paying more attention to that given how much I walk around in this area,” said Jeanette Wagner.
Other’s weren’t as concerned by the string of attacks.
“It’s a little bit scary, but I live far enough away that I’m not too concerned yet. If it was a little bit closer I would be more concerned,” said Richard Dickson.
