Shooting in Wildwood sends man to hospital

SASKATOON – A shooting in Saskatoon Thursday evening has sent a man to hospital. Police were called to the 200-block of Meglund Crescent in the Wildwood neighbourhood around 7:30 p.m. CT.

Officers arrived to find a man with a gunshot wound. The 19-year-old man was taken to hospital where he is in stable condition.

Detectives said the shooting was not random in nature.

The targeted enforcement team has taken over the investigation and members were on the scene for much of the night.
