REGINA – A Regina man accused in the first-degree murders of two women will skip a preliminary hearing and go straight to trial.

The hearing was scheduled to begin today for Clayton Bo Eichler in the deaths of Kelly Nicole Goforth and Richele Lee Bear.

But both sides agreed to bypass it and proceed to a judge and jury trial that’s expected to take place next year.

The body of the 21-year-old Goforth was found in an alley in September 2013 while the body of the 23-year-old Bear, who was last seen in August 2013, has not been found.
