Police believe fireworks to blame for blaze that destroyed East Vancouver home

Police are out with a warning this Halloween after a house in East Vancouver went up in flames.

The fire is believed to have been caused by fireworks. It is not known who may be responsible, but the homeowner did say kids were setting off fireworks near his home before the blaze broke out.

The home is located on the corner of East 10th Ave and Woodland Drive and the fire started just after 10 p.m.
