VAL D’OR — The Grand Chief of the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador, Ghislain Picard, held a special meeting of all 43 Quebec chiefs in Val d’Or on Tuesday.
They are calling on the provincial government to hold an independent public inquiry.
The request comes in the wake of sexual assault allegations against eight Sûreté du Québec officers in the small town.
