One person is dead and three people were injured after a two vehicle crash in Saskatchewan. It happened Monday around 5:30 p.m. CT at the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 56 by Indian Head.
Police say the driver of vehicle was attempting to cross the eastbound lane of Highway 1 when it was struck by an eastbound vehicle.

The driver, a 44-year-old Indian Head woman, was declared dead. Her name has not been released.
Three people in the eastbound vehicle were taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The eastbound lane of Highway 1 was closed for several hours while Mounties carried out their investigation.
