CALGARY – Calgary police are investigating after a woman in her 30s was found dead in the city’s northeast Monday afternoon.
Police are speaking with a man who found the woman’s body, but no one was in custody early Monday night.
Two ambulances were in the Castleridge neighbourhood as of 4:30 p.m., and many police cars remained on scene.
EMS said paramedics were called at about 3:45 p.m. to a home in the 0-100 block of Castledale Way N.E. for “complaints of a medical nature.”
“On arrival our paramedics quickly requested Calgary police attend the location and then immediately turned the scene over entirely to police,” said spokesperson Stuart Brideaux in a statement. “EMS has not transported anyone from this scene.”
