Police believe 2 searches in Saskatoon uncovered Fentanyl pills

SASKATOON – Police executed two search warrants in Saskatoon around 11:50 p.m. CT on Friday, uncovering what they believe to be Fentanyl pills. As a result, four men have been charged with approximately 48 Criminal Code charges.

One of the searches was conducted in the Pacific Heights neighbourhood. Police seized firearms, ammunition, cash and various controlled drugs in the 200-block of Dickey Crescent.

The other search warrant was conducted in the 10-block of Bow Court in the River Heights neighbourhood. Officers seized cash and more pills.

The four accused, aged 18, 24, 26 and 36, are expected to appear before a justice of the peace Saturday evening. Their charges range from possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking to careless storage of a firearm.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Search warrants were led by the Integrated Organized Crime Unit North (IOCN) and the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team (SIDEST).
