HALIFAX – The Needs convenience store on Chebucto saw it’s fifth robbery since June early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a report of a robbery that had just taken place at the store.
A male suspect entered the store and demanded the clerk give him money. The man said he had a weapon, but the clerk did not see one.
The suspect fled from the store with a quantity of cash.
Police attempted to track him with the K9 unit, but weren’t successful.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’5″ in height with blond hair in a ponytail. He was wearing a red jacket and jeans when the incident happened.
