TORONTO – Ontario Provincial Police say a bison was struck and killed by two vehicles on the QEW highway in Niagara Falls early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened near Lyons Creek Road just before 6 a.m. and two more bison are on the loose.

Police said the animals escaped from a local farm on Sunday. So far, no other collisions have been reported.
Motorists are being advised to drive with caution and to contact authorities if the bison are located.
