Chief Electoral Officer Brian Fjeldheim (feld-hime) says in these cases the political parties will be ordered to return the donated money.

In another eight earlier cases the people and parties involved will be censured.

Fjeldheim says none of the files will be referred for prosecution.

Elections Alberta didn’t name any names, but CBC News has reported that several Alberta post-secondary institutions gave tens of thousands of dollars in illegal donations to the Progressive Conservative Party.
