Bald men’s club in Japan celebrates full moon with bald style tug-of-war

A bald head can often shine or glow so maybe it’s fitting that a bald men’s club in Japan celebrated Sunday’s full moon.

Sunday was Tsukimi , a Japanese holiday for viewing the full moon.

Members of the bald club stuck suction cups on their heads and played a game of tug-of-war.

A Shinto priest dedicated a bald wooden figure as a protective deity for the event.

Mamoru Ota, 39, won the championship and said he’ll be back next year to defend his title.

An old saying says strange things happen when there’s a full moon. This might be proof.
