A fifth grader from West Columbia, South Carolina saved an 85-year-old woman’s life earlier this week when he saw her lying on the ground.
Charles Warren was riding his bike when he saw the woman, Italean Hudson, lying helplessly in her yard.
“I asked her are you alright and I didn’t get a reply so I got off my bike and ran over there,” said Warren to WLTX News.
“I was very, very scared,” he added.

Hudson had fallen when she found a weed in her garden and wanted to remove it.
She had been on the ground for about an hour before Warren saw her.
“I was hoping she would live and she did,” Warren said.
“He’s certainly my little angel sent from God” said Hudson to WLTX.
Hudson is now recovering at home.
