Lethbridge police have laid several charges against 36-year old Dominic Jarvis Spearchief after a 38-year old man was stabbed Thursday night.
It happened around 6:30pm near 5 St. and 4 Ave. S.
Police say the two men, who are known to each other, got in a fight when Spearchief pulled out a knife and slashed the victim’s face.

The victim tried running away, but was allegedly chased by Spearchief and stabbed.
The victim is recovering from a collapsed lung at Chinook Regional Hospital.
Spearchief faces charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and two counts of breach of probation.
He is scheduled to appear in court later this morning.
