Calgary man ordered to stand trial in 2014 murder

CALGARY – A Calgary man was ordered to stand trial for the 2014 murder of his girlfriend Wednesday.

A judge ruled there’s enough evidence for Scott Munrow Ferguson to stand trial for the second-degree murder of Susan Elko following a three-day preliminary inquiry.

Elko was found dead in the couple’s southwest home on Sept. 14. Police allege it was a domestic-related homicide.
