A 52-year-old Abbotsford man is facing sexual assault charges after selling a laptop with images of child sexual abuse.
On Aug. 27, the Abbotsford Police received a laptop from the new owner, who had purchased it through an online advertisement, after finding disturbing images on the computer. After examining the computer, police located the former owner, Jonathan Grunwald.
Grunwald has now been charged with sexual assault of a person under 16 years of age, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, making child pornography and possession of child pornography.
The APD Major Crime Unit has been able to identify one of the child victims and will be continuing their investigation.
Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to call Abbotsford police or Crime Stoppers.
