Twenty-six-year-old Brendan Phillips died after a van he was a passenger in rolled on Highway 1 Sunday evening east of Whitewood, Saskatchewan.
The single vehicle rollover happened about 6 km east of Whitewood around 6:30 p.m when a 1995 Dodge Caravan went into the ditch and struck a power pole.

RCMP say the 26-year-old Regina man died as a result of the crash.
The extent of the injuries of four other men in the van is unknown.
Mounties say road conditions where good at the time of the rollover.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
