WINNIPEG – Police have charged four Winnipeggers with trafficking cocaine after they seized eight kilograms of the drug following a five-month investigation.
Matthew Keith Manalang, 33, Ryan Alvarez Relleve, 34, Federico Polintan Jr., 29, and Bernadette Manalang, 29, are all charged with possessing cocaine for the purposes of trafficking. Polintan and Bernadette Manalang are also charged with possessing methamphetamine for the purposes of trafficking.
The Manitoba Integrated Organized Crime Task Force, which comprises both Winnipeg Police Service and RCMP officers, made the arrests as a result of the five-month-long Project Diverge investigation.
