TORONTO – The Toronto Raptors have signed centre Jonas Valanciunas to a multi-year contract extension.
The seven-foot, 270-pound Lithuanian averaged a career-high 12.0 points last season, with team highs of 8.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks.
Valanciunas added averages of 11.3 points and 9.3 rebounds in four playoff games.

He finished second in the NBA with a .572 field goal percentage.
In three seasons with the Raptors, the 23-year-old has averaged 10.9 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.1 blocks and 26.3 minutes.
Valanciunas was selected fifth overall by the Raptors in the 2011 NBA draft.
