SASKATOON – A Saskatchewan man is $2 million richer this month thanks, in part, to some advice he got. Andrew Mok has been playing Western 6-49 twice a week since his wife told him he would have good luck this year, due to his horoscope.

Mok was born in the year of the rabbit.

He couldn’t help but smile when he saw all the zeros on his winning lottery ticket he bought at the Midale Qwik Stop at 105 Stephan Street.

“I thought I won $200 at first, and that was great,” he said.

“Then the retailer checked and told me, ‘It’s more than $200. You won $200,000; no, it’s $2 million.’”

The Midale resident says he’s going to pay off a loan, remodel his restaurant and take a vacation to visit family in China.
