WATCH: ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ trailer debuts

TORONTO — “Nobody cares about Clark Kent taking on the Batman,” Laurence Fishburne’s character Perry White opines in the forthcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Nothing could be further from the truth, judging by the reaction of fans to a trailer for the highly anticipated movie unveiled Saturday at San Diego’s Comic Con.

The three-and-a-half-minute preview of Zack Snyder’s new entry in the DC Comics universe offers a glimpse of the face-off between Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent/Superman and Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman — as well as a look at Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and heroes like Flash (Ezra Miller) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa).
